Paula Semple, a local HomeSchool mom of 5, shares her knowledge of curriculum writing with the HomeSchool community.  Paula's vocation is providing curriculum assistance for community leaders such as the heads of Boards of Education, Health Departments, Local Non-profits, DFCS, Faith Communities, and other local elected officials for the purpose of providing better results for the children and families in their communities.

Paula spent less than $100 and about 2 hours per child preparing their curriculum for this year, which follows the Georgia DoE standards.  By this method there's no need to review or panic before standardized testing!  Writing curricula based on standards makes it easy to test.   Her children primarily work independently, though she writes "student-teacher" time into their curriculum also.

Paula now has a student in High School and is writing curricula based on credit hours!  There will be plenty of time for questions & answers, and at the end of the seminar everyone will break into focus groups and write their own unit while Paula is available for questions!
