Fund Raising & Donations

Thank you for your interest in supporting HomeSchool programs in the community through Home Education Resources, Inc.

H.E.R. is an all-volunteer organization and puts any money donated or raised into competitions, programs, and events that benefit HomeSchool families in many ways. Some of these are for program registration fees and materials, prizes for competition winners and judge’s honorariums, and miscellaneous administration and program expenses.

H.E.R. programs and events have been held in the metro Atlanta area, drawing participants from as far as one hundred miles away, but will organize programs in other parts of Georgia where there is interest, volunteers, and when funds are available to support it. Please look around our web site for current programs. If you or your HomeSchool groups are interested in a program in your area, e-mail us.

Fund-raising through endeavors such as these are what fund the programs we offer; without you H.E.R. would either not be able to offer these academic and enrichment programs or would have to ask you to pay more for them. Please share this information with other HomeSchool families. We believe our purpose is to bring the business community together with the HomeSchool community, something the public schools have been doing for years. Again, thank you for your support.

Do you shop online? We all do, to some degree. Now, a percentage of your sales can go to Home Education Resources at no additional cost to you to help support the programs you want. Here's how:

· Register as a user and select Home Education Resources as your school of choice (ID # 147852)

· Go to the Merchant Listing and select any of the more than 500 online retailers

SchoolPop will then collect the percentage from the retailer and share that money with the HomeSchool community All funds collected from SchoolPop will be applied to reduce program costs to make them affordable for all families!

Papa John’s Pizza

Kids, sell a pizza card for $5 and the buyer gets one free large pizza plus many other discount offers to make it worth their while. If you sell 5 of these cards to relatives, friends, and neighbors, then you would earn a ticket to a Dr.A Show.

Here is what the coupon is actually for:

· One free one topping large pizza for Carry out. (This is NOT a buy one/ get one coupon, just one free!)

· Two coupons for a free large or extra large pizza with the purchase of a large or extra large pizza of equal or greater value at regular menu price

· Two coupons for a free order of cheesesticks with the purchase of any Large or Medium pizza at regular menu price.

· Two coupons for a free order of breadsticks with the purchase of any Large or Medium pizza at regular menu price.

· When you meet your goal, click below to register for the Dr. A show you wish to attend and turn in the money you have collected. We will bring your merchandise to the show and you can deliver it to your customers. It is that easy!

Bruster’s Ice Cream

Sell a Bruster’s Ice Cream discount coupon book for $10. Each booklet has 12 buy-one get-one offer coupons inside that make the booklet worth from $30-$50 depending on what they choose. My family goes to Bruster’s with these coupons now and instead of spending $20 to buy everyone ice cream our bill is usually around $8-9. For each 5 booklets you sell to relatives, friends, and neighbors, you will get a ticket to the Dr.A Show.
